Berial, who says it has 40 million users per month, ads are offered in the United States

It is time for Perial to become real-difficult to make a profit on an application to exchange social images without selling ads or membership. Now, after its exit of 500 million euros to the French mobile publisher Fudo, Berial is developing the advertisement in the United States
Its initial products include feeding advertisements in the same pattern after the double camera, as well as full daily brands. The application has already tested ads with companies like Levi’s, Nike, Netflix and Amazon, but it will now launch a full American advertising platform.
The company was previously appointed by Tijook, to lead an American team that focuses on sales, partnerships and growth.
Since it seeks to attract advertisers, the Berial Techcrunch that it has an estimated 40 million monthly users, including 5 million active users per month in the United States in general, and Perial says 85 % of its users are Gen Z. The application also claims that in the United States, France and Japan – its first markets – 50 % of users are active per week. (TECHRUNCH was unable to check these numbers independently.)
The application today faces the challenge of staying related to a competitive social scene where heresies come and go.
Founded in 2019, the rapidly disappeared social application did not open until 2022, after receiving a $ 30 million tour of A16Z and Access. Even Meta and Tiktok were demanding to benefit from the Perial Verey.
By October 2022, Tower App Intelligence Sensor Tower estimated that 53 million people downloaded the application, although only about 9 % of active Android users have opened the application daily. The application hit a cultural landmark when it was crushed on SNL in the same month.
According to Appfigors data for an external party, bereal has yet been downloaded 115 million times on iOS and Android, with 33 % of those downloads coming from the United States but during the past few years, the downloads have slowed from its viral moment. In 2023, total downloads worldwide amounted to 31.5 million, which decreased by 60 % on an annual basis to 12.7 million in 2024.
